Why I built it
Moot court prep and legal research both involve reading a lot of case law under time pressure. I built this tool for myself to speed up the first pass — summarizing judgments and surfacing the parts most relevant to the argument I'm building.
What it does
- Summarizes case law into the key facts, holding, and reasoning
- Helps structure arguments around the strongest available authority
- Keeps a running research log so nothing gets lost between sessions
The point
AI speeds up the first pass, but every summary still gets checked against the primary source before it goes anywhere near an actual argument — this is a research accelerator, not a replacement for reading the case.
